Keeping with the strawberry theme, I decided to bake a strawberry tart. I was in a rather experimental mood so I thought I would try something new. As you may have noticed, those are basil leaves in the photo. Oh yes. There’s basil. And thyme, balsamic vinegar and passion fruit.
The result? A fresh, ‘grown up’ tart with a wonderfully rich, buttery pastry. Oh, and requests for seconds.
